About Me

Andrew Rosenblum is a Bay Area native, who has been playing music professionally since he was 11 years old.  Performing mostly in Jazz groups, he has made a name for himself in the genre in Northern California.  He has also performed in Fusion, Rock, Classical, Blues, Funk, and various other ensembles throughout his career.  When there was a need, he taught himself other instruments along the way to make himself more versatile.  These instruments include: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Trumpet, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute,  Trombone, Vibraphone, Voice, Oboe, Bassoon, Tuba, Ukulele, Synth, Sitar, and anything else he could get his hands on.  This soon led the way to Songwriting and Recording arts.  Writing/Recording songs for himself and others proved to be a positive creative outlet.
Andrew's versatility has allowed him to be one of the premiere instrumentalists in Northern California.  He performs with many groups that tour over the West Coast.  He has played with acts such as: Wayne Bergeron, Bill Watrous, John Faddis, Cornelius Bumpus, Mic Gillette, Ernie Watts, James Moody, Arturo Sandoval, Jeff Hamilton, Andy Martin, Clark Terry, Mike Vax, Ed Thigpen, Tom Kubis Big Band, Dallas Brass, and others.

Andrew has a Bachelor's in Music and Master's in Music from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music  in Long Beach, CA (CSULB). He is currently the instrumental Director of Bands at Knight High School in Palmdale, CA.
